Vocal Vigor, the brain child of Broadway star Ashley Fox Linton (“Les Miserables“, “Wicked“), is a place where singers and performers can find items that will make them giggle and keep them feeling like they’re a part of a very special industry and art-form.
What was the inspiration behind Vocal Vigor?
“Vocal Vigor” was created by Ashley Fox Linton, initially with the intent of bringing singers together to discuss vocal health, industry tips and exciting projects.
When Covid-19 brought the industry to a halt, Ashley’s public gigs were cancelled, and she made a creative pivot to pursue projects that could be possible from home. A notepad of ideas and designs turned into the collection you see here.
“While we’re all yearning to be back together, working onstage and in the studio, I hope that these items will make you giggle and keep you feeling like you’re a part of a very special industry and art-form. I like to imagine that you’re all at home with loved ones, still making music!”
Who is Ashley Fox Linton?
Ashley is an actress, recording artist and voiceover artist who has toured the U.S. and Canada in Broadway blockbuster “Les Miserables” (which she recently reprised in concert, singing as Cosette alongside Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean) and the smash-hit “Wicked.” She has performed regionally at The Old Globe, Goodspeed Opera House, The Helen Hayes Theatre, North Coast Repertory, Cygnet Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, Musical Theatre West, The Rubicon 3-D Theatricals, The Broad Stage, and holds a BFA from The Boston Conservatory.
Her debut album, “First Real Love” was released by King Kozmo Records, a subsidiary of Jazzheads Records in NYC and her second album “Christmas Will Keep Us Warm” will be available this holiday season!
She is also a teaching artist with Disney Musicals in Schools, building sustainable theater programs in under-resourced public elementary schools and serves as Chair of Education and Outreach for the Musical Theatre Guild.
