32 Days Until Hannukah!
35 Days Until Christmas!
Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I hope you’ve enjoyed my 2019 Gift Guide featuring customizable jewelry (20% off), Disney on Ice (Southern California), theatre tickets (London, New York and Los Angeles), and ways to give back.
Today, I want to share with you a must have gift for EVERYONE. Tickets to the cinema c/o Cinemark. Remember how I raved about their new luxury loungers at Century Stadium 25 in Orange, California? This weekend I had a chance to check them out personally.
FIVE Reasons You Must Buy Tickets to Cinemark for your loved ones this season!
#1: Cinemark provides luxury experiences at economy prices.
As of 10-24-2019, the standard auditorium prices (not including fees) are:
- General Admission $10.50
- Seniors (62+) $7.25
- Children (1 to 11) $7.25
Compare these prices to those of other luxury cinemas and you’ll be able to buy your ticket PLUS a drink (possibly even some popcorn) for roughly the same price.
*prices are subject to change and face an upcharge for specialized auditoriums.
#2: Heated Seats (at select cinemas).
My favorite part of my experience on Saturday was the fact that the seats were heated! On the right side of the luxury loungers (at select cinemas including Century Stadium 25 in Orange) in between the up and down controllers was a small button that allowed you to choose between 3 levels of heated comfort for your seat.
The warmth seeps through under your bottom which means it is not the same level of comfort as your at-home heating pad and/or car seat heater. But it is a whole lot better than the alternative. The heat definitely is appreciated by someone who has chronic pain.
Be warned that you will at some point during the movie need to turn on the heat again. There is a light indicator that tells you when your seat is heated or not.
#3: Well-Organized Concessions Bars Include Alcoholic Options.
At Century Stadium 25, the cinema had 2 concessions bars in the middle of the lobby. At the 1:55pm matinee only one of the bars was open. Also, there was an alcoholic bar open on the side of the lobby just a few steps away from concessions.
There was a queue in and out of the concessions bar making it easier to get the crowd through in an organized manner.
I also loved that they provided stacks of large cardboard trays big enough to share concessions with your friends and family. We all know how expensive concessions can be so this is a huge blessing for families.
#4: Mobile Tickets Are the Way to Go!
You’d think that in this day and age everyone is using mobile tickets. Surprisingly on Saturday that was not the case. There was an extra long queue at the ticket booth both before my showing and as I was leaving closer to 5pm.
So by getting your tickets sent to your mobile device, you will save an extra wait and can walk right up to the ticket taker inside past the concession bars.
#5: Cinema Outings Make for Great Memory Making Moments.
With expected holiday blockbusters to include Disney’s Frozen II and LucasFilm’s The Rise of Skywalker, you’ll be wanting to gather the family together. And with the excellent prices already mentioned, you can hardly go wrong with a holiday outing spent at Cinemark Cinemas!
I can truthfully say that this was one of the BEST cinema experiences I have enjoyed thanks mainly to the comfy loungers and heated seats keeping my pain bearable. A big thank you to Jennifer Becker PR and Cinemark for the seats and opportunity to check out their fabulous Luxury Loungers.
Those lounger seats are the best! I didn’t know some locations had heated ones. Perfect to visit during the cold weather holidays to warm up.
So many good movies are coming out this holiday season. We got Spies in Disguise and 21 Bridges seems cool!
i love buying my tickets ahead of time. also picking out my seats is a plus. makes it easier when it comes to movies that are just coming out. love giving movie gift cards.
I haven’t been to Cinemark Theatres. Seems like the prices are fair. Hope to see it soon!
Those are great prices for having luxury seats! Around here most of the places with reclining chairs and alcoholic drinks cost a bit more for admission! Those are fun though!
The prices of those tickets are great! Definitely a nice gift idea for anyone or those who enjoy activities like this.
Heated cinema seats? This is a first, for me! I await “Rambo” this season!
I love cinema. when I get times, I watch movies. I love to going those movies…
We don’t have that many plays near me in Perth, WA But I’m returning to England for Christmas and watching jack and the beanstalk!! cant wait
Their prices sound so reasonable. I love going to the movies.
Great prices on tickets. My wife and daughter would love to go see these shows.
This is nice for someone who just wants somewhere to go. Nicely expressed and enjoying.
I can’t think of a better gift than movies. It’s so much fun to go out for an evening of excitement in a dark theater.
These are great ticket prices. I think giving the gift of movies is such an awesome idea. Who doesn’t love going to the movies?
