I could find very little in English about this photographer but this photo entitled “Jesus Falls For a Third Time” spoke volumes to me, partially in its simplicity but also because of the photographer’s choice of angles and dimensions. What do you think?

“Love’s Eternal Wonder”
by Amy Carmichael
Lord, beloved, I would ponderBreadth and length and depth and height Of Thy love’s eternal wonder,All embracing, infinite. Never, never have I brought TheeGold and frankincense and myrrh,In the hands that groping, sought Thee, Precious treasures never were. What was that to Thee? The measure Of Thy love was Calvary. Stooping low, Love found a treasure In the least of things that be. O the Passion of Thy loving,O the Flame of Thy desire! Melt my heart with Thy great loving, Set me all aglow, afire.
T – Luther starring Joseph Fiennes
This has to be one of the first movies I ever saw starring Fiennes and both he and the film makers delivered! Beautifully done, this film was one of the first big budget Christian films to excel in storytelling leaving Left Behind etc. behind in its dust.

The first piece, what strikes me is the contemporary figures who are hitting Jesus. They are wearing modern clothes, and that looks like a baseball bat or a golf club? So it's a commentary on our modern time. Which can be interpreted many ways. For example: Are we in a time that is smashing Christianity, or is that values associated with Christianity and with Christ (love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, etc.) are being hit?
