Are you too suffering from pain and looking for pain relief gadgets? Today I will be focusing on 5 pain relief gadgets that I have found to be useful and helpful.

1. Portable Medical Exerciser.

Compact pedal exerciser can be used to strengthen arms and legs, increasing circulation, improving stamina and relieving tension for greater focus and concentration. Quiet and smooth pedal operation allows the Vive pedal exerciser to be used in the office as well as at home. Use while on your phone, watching tv, or playing video games to include beneficial exercise in your day. [product description]

There are many brands and prices available on Amazon and elsewhere but this is the one my Occupation Therapist would bring to the house each week and the one my parents bought for me. It is helpful for strengthening the arms and hands and can even be used for the feet and legs.

2. Mini Hand Massager.

Increases the speed of recovery and rehabilitation for scar tissue and hand surgery, and facilitates muscle recovery to alleviate pain in the hands and tendons. [Product Description]

I bought mine at the local CVS Drugstore and it has been a huge help ever since I started using it at Hand Works (the best occupational therapy clinic in Camarillo where I currently go). The price on Amazon is extreme so I would recommend checking out your local chemist and getting it in person for approximately $20. I keep mine in the purse and would happily use it at all hours it is so helpful especially after cooking or eating or trying to type.

3. Wahl Massager.

User Friendly – Sleek, long handle for all-over muscle comfort for the back, neck, shoulder, legs, hands, feet, full-body, cellulite, & more; Professional quality & therapeutic to release pressure points, promote circulation, reduce inflammation, muscle soreness, stiffness, chronic pain, & fibromyalgia. [product description]

The Wahl company has several different types of hand massagers (requires AC cord) but I’d imagine the heat would be very helpful. Mine is from CVS (same as the mini massager) and used at Hand Works but the price is about the same as on Amazon. I use the massager on my shoulders, arms, and legs and they really help with the pain and stiffness.

4. Theracane and Trigger Point Self Massager.

10 massage knobs with 4 types, pinpoint the pressure points throughout your body, when pressed against various trigger points or pressure points throughout the body, can provide rapid relief. Designed to aid anyone whether suffering from chronic pain or just looking for stress relief. [product description]

My Theracane was recommended to me by my physical therapist at Camarillo Aquatics and is splendid. It is rough and feels painful when I am extra stiff but man can it help with the knots in my shoulders and back.

5. Tens Machine.

A TENS unit muscle stimulator and electric massager that provides pain relief acts as a muscle massager or shoulder massager provides carpal tunnel relief and acts as a muscle relaxer (great for muscle recovery). [product description]

I received my Tens machine thanks to Medi-Cal insurance after my neck surgery in 2016. It has been a lifesaver.

I used to wear mine almost 24/7 whenever I was out and about for the first year after surgery for pain relief.

It is also used by my Occupational Therapists at Hand Works on my hands and wrists and forearms at the end of my sessions.

I hope these suggestions have been useful for you with your own pain. God bless you. And do share if you have any suggested pain relief gadgets that do wonders for YOU?
