If you’ve ever asked, “What is Supper in Your Seats at the Hollywood Bowl?”—this is your ultimate guide.

Think elevated concert dining, curated by two of LA’s most celebrated culinary minds, Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, delivered straight to your Garden or Terrace box seats. We recently tried the pre-ordered three-course summer supper menus and honestly? I don’t know how I’ll ever go back to packing chips and sandwiches again.
Here are five indulgent reasons Supper in Your Seats is totally worth it—and may just change the way you experience the Hollywood Bowl forever.
🎶 1. Gourmet Dining Under the Stars at Hollywood Bowl
This is not your average picnic. Chef Suzanne Goin, a James Beard Award winner, has created a stunning summer menu inspired by local ingredients and bold seasonal flavors. We tried:
The Angeleno ($78)

This scrumptious dinner began with a refreshing spinach and dandelion salad tossed with chickpeas, sweet peppers, cucumber, and a zesty paprika vinaigrette—light yet flavorful and bursting with garden-fresh crunch.
For the main course, guests choose between:
Slow-roasted salmon, delicately flavored with turmeric-spiced carrots, charred lemon yogurt, and mint pistou
orBraised short rib—my personal pick and absolute showstopper. This dish was nothing short of spectacular. The meat was so tender it practically melted on the fork, rich with deep, slow-cooked flavor. Nestled on a bed of creamy rajas polenta with swirls of fresh spinach and crème fraîche, it struck the perfect harmony of indulgence and comfort. Sweet cherry tomatoes added just the right pop of brightness to balance the richness. Honestly? It might be one of the best short ribs I’ve ever tasted—and that includes white-tablecloth restaurants.
Dessert sealed the deal: a sticky toffee pudding made with rich medjool dates, juicy tangerines, and a dollop of crème fraîche. It was, without exaggeration, one of the best sticky toffee puddings I’ve ever had—incredibly flavorful, perfectly moist, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Every bite was a warm, citrusy-sweet hug to end the meal on a high note.
🍷 2. The Mulholland Drive: A Decadent Upgrade

The Mulholland Drive ($85, +$10 supplement for steak) delivers bold flavors and luxurious textures from start to finish.
It opens with a heirloom tomato salad that deserves its own standing ovation. Juicy, sun-ripened tomatoes are paired with earthy beluga lentils, smoky grilled scallions, and a creamy, tangy swirl of aleppo-spiced labneh. Every bite was vibrant, layered, and so fresh it felt like it was picked straight from a backyard garden moments before plating. This is summer on a plate—and it’s divine.
For the main course, diners choose between:
Grilled prawns, served atop a bright yellow tomato gazpacho with silky avocado, crisp cucumber, and a zippy pepita pistou—light, elegant, and packed with coastal flair
orGrilled beef tenderloin (our pick), a true indulgence. Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, the tenderloin was melt-in-your-mouth tender, nestled over pillowy potato purée, bitter garlic rapini, and topped with crispy shallots and a rich herb butter that tied every element together like a symphonic crescendo. It was utterly indulgent—steakhouse quality, under the stars.
And then came the finale: a bittersweet chocolate cake so moist, so luscious, it could have stolen the show on its own. Drizzled with salted caramel and sprinkled with toasted coconut, it struck that dreamy balance of dark, rich cocoa and buttery sweetness. This dessert wasn’t just good—it was decadent, dreamy, and deeply satisfying.
Each course felt restaurant-level—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
🍷 2. Wine Pairings by Caroline Styne at Hollywood Bowl
Every great meal deserves a perfect pairing, and you’re in excellent hands with wine director Caroline Styne, recently named Restaurateur of the Year by the James Beard Foundation. Her wine list is thoughtfully curated with biodynamic, sustainable, and organic selections, tailored to complement each dish.
Whether you’re a wine aficionado or just enjoy a good pour, the experience feels luxurious yet approachable.

For other ticket holders (not in Garden or Terrace boxes), the Picnic Boxes are equally well-composed and available for pick-up at the Plaza Marketplace.
🕰️ 4. Discover Convenience Without Compromise at Hollywood Bowl
To secure this gourmet experience, all orders must be placed online by 6PM the day before your concert—and trust me, it’s worth planning ahead. You’ll avoid the pre-show scramble, skip the lines, and enjoy a stress-free evening of food, music, and ambiance.
✨ Pro tip: The menus change seasonally, so returning guests will always have something new to discover.
🎼 5. Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne Provide the Perfect Pairing for World-Class Performances
There’s something magical about enjoying a slow bite of short rib while the LA Phil plays Tchaikovsky under the stars. It’s the kind of moment that turns a night out into a core memory. Whether you’re attending a Broadway concert, classical symphony, or cinematic spectacle, Supper in Your Seats makes the evening feel extra special.
