Were you a fan of the Castle TV Series? Nathan Fillion best role as Richard Castle. #castle #tvshow #ABC #nathanfillion #whattowatch #thejoyousliving #entertainmentMiss watching Nathan Fillion CASTLE episodes? With the newest season of THE ROOKIE coming to ABC on September 29th and a second season of ABSENTIA on Amazon Prime Video, I thought it would be fun to look back at the beloved CASTLE episodes starring Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic that ran for 8 seasons on ABC. 5 of my top favorite Nathan Fillion CASTLE Episodes (in no particular order):

The Good, The Bad, and the Baby (Season 6, Episode 10)

Synopsis: When a dying man leaves a baby with a priest, Castle and Beckett end up taking care of the baby while they investigate.

I loved watching Castle and Beckett trying to take care of an adorable baby in their care. Seeing Castle’s paternal instincts were ovary-warming. (is that even a thing?)

Nanny McDead (Season 1, Episode 2)

Synospis: A woman’s body is stashed in a laundry-room dryer in an upscale apartment building where she was a nanny; Castle tries to get inside Beckett’s head while writing the first novel in his Nikki Heat series.

This was the episode that hooked me on CASTLE at the very beginning. I loved Sarah Drew in the guest spot as nanny Chloe. And the original Season One chemistry between Castle and Beckett was spot-on.

Little Girl Lost (Season 1, Episode 9)

Synopsis: An FBI agent takes over the case when a two-year-old girl is kidnapped and a hefty ransom demand made. Despite instructions from Beckett to stay away from the investigation, Castle gets involved when he finds out that the FBI agent is her ex-boyfriend.

This has to have been my favorite mystery/case. I loved Julian Acosta as the father of the missing girl and also it was great to see Beckett and Castle deal with their unspoken chemistry when her ex-boyfriend (Bailey Chase) shows up.

3XK (Season 3, Episode 6)

Synopsis: A dead woman leaves clues indicating that the Tripler Killer, aka 3XK, is back after a four-year hiatus. Castle and Beckett play a deadly game of wits with the killer to prevent more killings.

Any episode featuring serial killer 3XK (Michael Mosley) was a highlight.

Food to Die For (Season 2, Episode 22)

Synopsis: A well-known chef is found frozen to death in the kitchen of a New York restaurant; Castle shares an attraction with a former classmate of Beckett’s (Julie Gonzolo).

Guest star Julie Gonzolo gets one of the best lines in the series. Fans of Castle + Beckett will definitely love the flirting going on in this episode.

Gosh, there are way more episodes I’d love to mention. Maybe for another post?
