When you have company in from out of state, it’s an unspoken role that you take them to the beach and preferably include a meal with a visit at sunset. So, when my cousin and his girlfriend came into town from TX, my parents and I took them to Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu.
Table of Contents
Ginger Teriyaki Salmon
I have been to Paradise Cove several times but this was the first time I ate my entire meal (it was that good)! I ordered the Ginger Teriyaki Salmon special (menu) and was licking my fork afterward it was so delicious.
Best Clam Chowder
My consistently all-time favorite dish at Paradise Cove has to be their homemade clam chowder. I took a friend to Paradise Cove where she had her first bowl of clam chowder and her eyes were the size of saucers – it was that memorable and delicious.
A View is a Must
Be sure to ask for a table by the window because the view is sensational (especially at sunset). We watched as the sun descended past the waterline and spotted several sail ships and a dolphin.
It’s touristy (true) but the food and view make the place a worthwhile dip into your pocketbook.

This sounds like such an amazing experience. Between the beach view and ambience and delicious looking food, it sounds like it would be a highlight of my trip!
I definitely recommend it for any of my out of town visitors. Hope you get a chance one day.
