En route to LAX for my flight back to London, my mum and I drove down Sepulveda looking for a sit-down restaurant to enjoy an early dinner. We were just about to turn around when we spotted Salt Creek Grille in El Segundo and boy were we in for a treat!

A+ Food and Service
From the friendly waitress to the delicious food to the welcoming bathrooms (yes those do count when you decide if a restaurant is worth recommending), we had a fabulous “last meal” before saying “until next time”.
My only complaint if any was the bitterness of the house-made lemonade but our waitress easily swapped that out for iced tea without a blink of an eye.
Some Drool-Worthy Food at Salt Creek Grille –
Mum’s Blackened Ahi Tuna Steak Sandwich (Protein Style)
My amazing Citrus Glazed Mahi Mahi
Mum and I could not let anything go to waste on my plate from the warm citrus segments to the delicious avocado mousse.
And then there was the dessert of desserts!
The Most Heavenly Chocolate Ganache Souffle
Heavenly!
So if you find yourself in the El Segundo, Dana Point, or Valencia, do yourself a favor and stop in at the local Salt Creek Grille for some of the freshest food! Yum, Yum. Mum’s already planning a return trip when she is next to LAX.
