Hi Guys! Happy Mischief Night. Any fun plans for today?
Since tomorrow is Halloween, I thought I’d share with y’all my TOP 5 Halloween movies that won’t scare you and that you can enjoy with the family while curled up on the couch sharing a bag of your favorite candies.
#1. Nightmare Before Christmas
I absolutely LOVE the song/scene “What’s This?” What is your favorite tune from the fan-favorite Halloween movie?
#2. It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Who doesn’t love this wholesome classic Halloween movie cartoon? Of course, there’s Snoopy’s beloved and imaginative dream as the Red Baron and the hilarious scene when Charlie Brown gets the rock when trick or treating. What’s not to love?
I wasn’t allowed to watch this movie as a child but there’s something incredible about a young Michael Keaton as the title character. Unfortunately, he’s not prominently on screen for a good half of the movie, at least. And in case you’re curious he’s also my favorite Batman. 🙂
#4. Pooh’s HEFFALUMP Halloween Movie
I love all things Pooh Bear and this movie is adorable with a great story of friendship and bravery. I especially love when Roo helps Heffalump overcome his fear of Halloween.
#5. Monsters, Inc.
Monsters, Inc. must be one of my all-time favorite Disney/Pixar movies. I get belly-aching laughs just watching it time and time again so while this is not necessarily about Halloween, I had to put it on my list.
Have a great and safe Mischief Night and Halloween.
Hope you enjoy this list of Halloween movies that won’t scare you!
I love all of these movies!
We are big fans of the Nightmare Before Christmas!
Watch it as a Halloween and a Christmas movie!
Great list 🙂
Hi, Joy! Monster.INC is my favourite. I watched it like once a year!! BTW, my "Bloggers United" comment seems able to get through, thank God!
I'm such a baby and can't do scary movies so I love that your suggestions are geared towards the lighter side of Halloween. My must watches are Hocus Pocus and Tower of Terror with young Kirsten Dunst! Love that one!
