My 2018 Giving Thanks series has begun! Are you excited? I am!

I love this season — there’s the beautiful weather, gorgeous sunsets, chances to crunch leaves under our feet, jumping in puddles, curling up under my USC blanket while watching some of my favorite Amazon films, celebrating Thanksgiving, and seeing all the autumn plays/musicals to offer in LA/Ventura County (this season I’ll likely be reviewing shows at 5 Star Theatricals, Conejo Players, Camarillo Skyway Playhouse, etc.) and more!

There are so many different reasons to be thankful and grateful during this season (and always). When I was healthy and had a career, I would host giving thanks teas/dinners for my best friends. Now that money is not easily available, I have to find other ways to thank my loved ones and shower them with love. One of the ways I have been able to do that is thanks to my job reviewing theatre performances. Recently I was able to take two of my best friends to see Thoroughly Modern Millie at Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and Is He Dead? at Conejo Players Theatre this month and I was able to take my dad to see the recent Inspecting Carol at Hillcrest Arts Center.

How do you celebrate and thank your loved ones? Share in the comments below. And keep this website bookmarked for future Giving Thanks posts on Wednesdays this autumn.
