Inspirational author and speaker, Nick Vujicic, draws crowds from far and wide when he speaks at local churches and community centers. Recently he spoke at The Bridge in Newbury Park, CA, where my friends and family listened mesmerized in a standing room only auditorium. Upon hearing all their high remarks, I jumped at the chance to get a peek inside his mind with a read of his book on bullying, Stand Strong.
Nick Vujicic, born in Melbourne, Australia, was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs. He was bullied in school and contemplated suicide at age 8. So who better to encourage young people (and adults) on how to stand strong and overcome bullying? Vujicic is an amazingly uplifting, charismatic, motivational and compelling writer/speaker with a great sense of humor.
Vuljicic describes different bullies he has come in contact with over the years and the effects they have had on his life. Vuljicic’s compassion and desire to help others is evident on each page and makes for a very good read for young people who are dealing with bullying.
The book is also a must read for those who come in contact with bully victims to help understand their mindset and problems.
Don’t Give Up! Nick Vujicic encourages his readers.
If you are being bullied, know people who have been bullied and want to help this is a great paperback read found at your local bookstore, online shops and Amazon.
