ERIKA’S TEA ROOM – Scone Advent Calendar
Description: You will receive 24 scones, tea samples, cocoas, a teapot and more fun holiday presents for $300 (including shipping costs)
I had the opportunity to test out several Erika’s Tea Room scones and it was a magical experience. The Tea Room mailed me via USPS 3 holiday flavored scones – key lime, apple streusel, and creme brulee. The scones were mailed from Florida and arrived in Calfornia in fine condition. Each scone was individually wrapped and they came with instructions for how to freeze and warm up.
Personally, I thought the flavors were not too strong, texture was perfect, and there was no suggestion of them being stale after traveling across the country. My only issue is that there seemed to be a bitter after taste when I had the key lime scone.
I hope these have given you some fun ideas for your next advent calendar. Things have sure been spiced up since I was a child and we were so excited to get our chocolates every night from our advent calendars and sat around the living room when we lit the advent wreath every Sunday.
