Today we celebrated the beautiful life of George Floyd with his family and friends thanks to the cable streaming of his Minneapolis memorial.

In honor of his name and in support of my sisters and brothers who are members of minorities, I have been sharing lists of t.v. shows with persons of color as the leads and roles on Broadway that were specifically written for minorities.

Today I want to share 7 quotes and verses about equality. And without judging my fellow mankind, might I kindly ask that we all take a deep breath and avoid speaking words of hate and anger and instead focus on surrounding one another with love and support?

#1. Martin Luther King, Jr.

#3. Galatians 3:23-29

All are one in Christ Jesus #galatians #bible #verse #scripture #equality #blacklivesmatter #faith #georgefloyd #thejoyousliving

“Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” (ESV)

#4. President Abraham Lincoln

  1. Great quotes for these difficult times. I hope love prevails and we leave all our diferences behind. Peace and love for all!

  2. I love every single one of these! If we all treated everyone we encounter in this way, our world would be unrecognizable in the best way.

  3. Those where all good quotes. I think that all those men were right and that inequality is an urgent problem that we need to address quickly.

  4. These are beautiful quotes and verses and I hope these things will help people realize that being a racist is not really a good thing.

  5. These are powerful quotes, and a great reminder that we are all equals. Let’s keep on sharing these good lessons.

  6. Pope Francis’ quote is always one of my favorites. This like “If they accept the Lord and have good will, who am I to judge them?” is so powerful especially today on our society.

  7. President John F. Kennedy has some of the best quotes for future generations. I believe we could learn so much from all the times he has spoke to the people. We need to come together as a nation today.

  8. Equality is always the top thing people should have in mind at all the time. What’s happening today is so bad and worst. I just want the world to be normal and happy as the old days.

  9. Those are all wonderful quotes supporting equality. Another favorite of mine is a classic, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” 🙂 Honestly, if the world just followed the golden rule we would all be so much better off. 🙂

  10. Thank you for taking the time to put up these quotes. It’s hard to imagine the times we are living in today – but to see little bits of reminders such as this makes me believe there are more good than bad people out there!
