OxyRub: Pain Relief or Not?

29 July 2015

I have been struggling with all over pain since coming down with "post-viral fatigue" in November of last year. Man it sure feels like it has been a long time! Over the past 8 months, I have used prescription drugs, herbal supplements, Ben Gay, heating pads, and over the counter medicines. So when I heard about the opportunity to test out OxyRub's Pain Relief Cream, I jumped at the opportunity.

Happy Gotcha Day to Me!

24 July 2015

Wow 31 years sure have flown! 31 years ago I was brought home for the first time after being adopted by the coolest and awesomest family. At 3 months old, I flew from Seoul, South Korea, to Seattle, WA, and onwards to LAX where I was greeted by family, friends, and more friends. Truly so much love. I feel so blessed and grateful.

LeliaSea: Instant Re-Hydrating Results

Happy Friday, loves! Are you loving this summer weather? It has been draining my energy and leaving my skin dry and cracked especially those pesky feet. ;) So when I had a chance to test out LeliaSea's Body Lotion I jumped at the chance after loving their hand lotion.

Book Review: American Heart Association Cookbook

15 July 2015

We are in the middle of summer and the sweet smell waffling over the fences means only one thing - your neighbor is taking full advantage of grilling season. When I saw this new cookbook by the American Heart Association, I knew I had to give it a try.

Ventura: Aloha Steakhouse

14 July 2015

Sunday I went with family and friends to Aloha Steakhouse in Ventura, California, for a celebratory dinner. And what a fabulous choice location (the only beachfront restaurant in Ventura) with some scrumptious dishes that had the mouth watering and the tummy very happy. So pull up a chair and grab a cuppa as I describe my meal.
Disclaimer: You're not going to want to read this when you are starving. :)

Ant-Man is Marvel's Funniest Film

09 July 2015

Marvel has done it again. They have exceeded this blogger's expectations. The idea of an insect-sized super-hero is laughable and primarily for all the wrong reasons but somehow Marvel has been able to create an entertaining film filled with LOL moments -- courtesy of side-kick Luis (Michael Peña) -- numerous Easter eggs (numerous cameos that will have the audience cheering), excellent acting (especially from Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd), great special effects, and tribute well played to my all-time favorite Marvel superhero, the one and only Iron Man.
