Choco-Peanut Butter Brownies

20 September 2013

Nothing says autumn is around the corner quite like a batch of brownies baking in the oven!
Because I had an extra bag of Reese's peanut butter chips I decided to experiment and combine the yumminess of chocolate and peanut butter...

In order to make some Choco-Peanut Butter Brownies you'll need:
1 box of chocolate brownie mix
2 eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup Reese's peanut butter chips
Pre-heat the oven to 350 F.

Add the eggs and melted butter to your brownie mix and stir until creamy.

Next, add your peanut butter pieces -- 1/4 cup is enough but who can say no to just a few more bites of the richness.

Spoon the mixture into a baking pan (lined with parchment paper) and squidge it to all corners of the pan. Bake for the time recommended on your brownie mix.

If you are like me, you'll probably enjoy a lick or two from the mixing bowl. ;-)

When done baking, the brownies should look like this (see below) and spring back up at the faintest touch.

After the brownies have cooled remove them to a chopping board and cut them into manageable pieces.

Trust me -- they are delicious and perfect for an overcast day like today.
Have any of you discovered any new recipes for autumn baking?
