When you have company in from out of state, it's an unspoken role that you take them to the beach and preferably include a meal with that visit at sunset. So, when my cousin Tim and his girlfriend, Stephanie, came into town from TX, my parents and I took them to
Paradise Cove Beach Cafe in Malibu.

I have been to Paradise Cove several times but this was the first time I ate my entire meal (it was that good)! I ordered the Ginger Teriyaki Salmon special (
menu) and was licking my fork afterwards it was so delicious.

Be sure to ask for a table by the window because the view is sensational (especially at sunset). We watched as the sun descended past the waterline and spotted several sail ships and a dolphin. It's touristy (true) but the food and view make the place a worthwhile dip into your pocketbook.
What restaurants do you always take out of town guests to?
